At Babysitters R Us we pride ourselves on providing quality babysitters to you and your family. To help you with your babysitter here is a list of tips you may find useful;
* Use the Family Information Checklist – please take a few moments to fill in the form attached to your confirmation email, either before the sitter arrives or before you leave home. This is a useful tool for the sitter and ensures guidelines are clear. You can also download and print a form from our website.
* Show them around - give your sitter a tour of your home, show them the children's rooms, bathroom, play areas etc. Be clear on what areas are out of bounds for children (if any).
* Punctuality – just as you expect your sitter to arrive on time, if you have specified you will be home at a set hour please try and be on time. If you are late, please be prepared to pay your sitter the extra hourly rate.
* Payment of your sitter - Make sure you know exactly how much you owe your sitter and have the cash ready to pay them at the end of the session
* Feedback from your sitter – ask your sitter questions about the session - how did the children behave, what fun things did they do, did bedtime go as planned.
* Safety – if applicable, please try and ensure that your sitter reaches their car safely – especially if your session ends late at night.
* Feedback to Babysitters R Us – we will send you a follow-up email in the days after your babysitting session and we ask if you could please provide us with any feedback about our agency or sitters. Good or bad, your feedback is much appreciates as it allows us to ensure we are sending out the highest quality sitters to care for children.
