TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AGENCY BABYSITTING SERVICES PROVIDED BY Babysitters R Us
WHEREAS the parties agree as follows:
1.AGENCY BABYSITTING SERVICE IS NOT AN INTRODUCTION SERVICE. The Client* acknowledges that they understand and agree not to approach any Babysitters R Us registered Sitter for private work. This means the Client is not permitted to engage the services of any Babysitters R Us Sitter directly and without making a formal booking through the agency. At no time is this practice permitted by the Client or Sitter - and any approach by a Client to a Sitter, may result in the Client being charge $149 fee for our Meet The Babysitter service, and refusal by Babysitters R Us to provide services to the Client in the future.
2. For Privacy and Safety reasons please do not ask Sitters sent to your house or babysitter venue by Babysitters R Us for their personal telephone numbers or contact details. They will be in breach of their contract if they provide this information to you, and will result in termination of their contract.
3. The Client is required to pay the agency booking fee directly to Babysitters R Us for each booking session made - unless alternative arrangements have been made and advised in writing by Babysitters R Us. Failure to make payment of the agency booking fee will result in Babysitters R Us referring all outstanding amounts to a collection agency, and the Client will become liable for further collection charges.
4. The Sitter will not remove a child from the residence and/or accommodation unless there is express written consent by the client authorising the Sitter to allow the child to participate in outdoor activities.
5. The client must complete a Family Information Checklist prior to leaving the child or children in the care of the Sitter.
6. If your child has any special needs or requirements (eg. medical conditions, toilet training requirements, allergies etc.) advise the Sitter immediately.
7. Payment for the babysitting session is to be made to the Sitter at the conclusion of each appointment and payment can only be made in cash (no credit cards). Booking fee is to be made directly to Babysitters R Us prior to finalisation of the client’s initial booking.
8. If there are further appointments organised by the parties after the signing of this agreement the parties acknowledge that these terms and conditions will apply to such further appointments.
9. All Booking fees (non-refundable) must be paid in full prior to your babysitter's session with the family.
10. A cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum 3 hour booking charge will apply if the session is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the sitting session. Booking fee is non-refundable.
11. If a cancellation is made with more than 24 hours notice the client is not required to pay any costs associated with babysitter’s rate for the session, but the booking fee is non- refundable.
12. An additional $7 booking fee, plus an extra $3 per hour (for up to 3 children) is payable by the client/s when combined family bookings are made.
13. If a combined family booking is not pre-arranged with Babysitters R Us, then the client will be charged all additional rates, plus an extra $5 administration fee.
14. Babysitters R Us accepts no responsibility for any damage, injury expense or loss caused by any Sitters referred to the client by Babysitters R Us.
15. Babysitters R Us conducts a thorough interview & screening process, however Babysitters R Us does not give any warranty concerning the character of the Sitters introduced. It is the responsibility of the client to accept and approve the suitability of Sitters. If the client has any concerns regarding the suitability of the Sitter they should contact Babysitters R Us immediately.
These terms and conditions constitute your formal agreement with Babysitters R Us and will be referred to by your Babysitters R Us representatives
*The term ‘Client” refers to the parent/s that are using Babysitters R Us to book a babysitter.
